The choir of Ukrainians fleeing the Russian invasion was formed in November 2022 to bring people together and as a way of keeping their culture alive. Since then, we have shared Ukrainian traditional songs and customs during events, and celebrations such as Ivana Kupala and Christmas. This opportumity to come together, share songs and talk has proved invaluable. ‘We come in to rehearsals feeling hopeless and leave feeling hopeful’
